Born May 1st, in the Bronx, NY. Relocated to Rockland County at age 8. Now resides in Orange
County with his parents Patricia & LeRoy C. Brown Jr. and his brother ShaQuille.
LeRoy graduated Spring Valley High School and attended Rockland Community College, Spring
Valley, NY. Currently attending Empire State University, Middletown, NY. Fuze was introduced
to music at a very young age. He began taking piano lessons at the Bronx Academy of Music,
Bronx, NY at the age of 7 years old. He also studied at The Rockland Conservatory of Music,
Spring Valley, NY.
Fuze was classically trained in music and was raised listening to a variety of music including 1970’s
R&B, Funk and Soul as well as classical and new wave Rock & Roll. He developed an interest in
Hip Hop at the age of 14. Fuze officially became a Hip Hop Artist in 1999 when he signed with
Onyx Management Services as a member of Tha Council. He is also one of the founding members
of Costa Nostra.
Short Fuze has produced several music tracks on Tha Council’s first two projects “The Bronx Is
Back” and “Gutta’s Revenge.” He is also co-author of the lyrics on these two projects. Tha Coun-
cil are winners of the Universal/F.E.D.S. Underground Idol competition for which they’ve won a
recording session at Universal and the release of a single on the F.E.D.S. record label which will be
released in May 2005. Fuze is also featured on the CD Onyx Management Presents: Costa Nostra
“The Official Mob.” Fuze can be heard on Promo Radio NYC’s 91.9 FM radio release “The Best
of the Unsigned Artist Volume 2. Fuze has performed at NYC’s Apollo theater, the Remote
Lounge, Down Time, SOB’s and Club Babalu to new a few. Fuze also has four tracks scheduled for
released in Europe; “ I know what you did last night” with Alexander Perl, “Feelin’ Alright To-
night” with Laurent Konrad, “Break You Off” with Martin Eyrer, and “Rock Dat Shit” with Men-
ace & Adam. Fuze will also be featured in the upcoming Aldo Shoes Promotional Compilation CD.
His goals are to secure a label deal which will allow him to record and showcase his lyrical skills,
produce music and become an engineer.
